I used to go to the street of Nairobi Kenya and preach as God was directing and leading me but I stopped and many people asked me why?
When I went out to the streets of Nairobi to preach, I neither meditated what to say nor prepare. I could just rise up, pick my Bible and go as God’s power was walking me. I believed Jesus Christ words which say,
Do not worry about how or what you should speak, for it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak (Mt 10:19)
When I opened my mouth in the streets to preach, Holy Spirit could immediately dictate what I should say. And for hours, He could dictate as I opened my mouth and spoke.
Why I Stopped Street Mission: The Immediate Death of Prominent Kenyans Each Time I Go
The first day I went to the streets of Nairobi was Friday 7th February 2015 in the afternoon.
As I opened my mouth that day to speak near the Tom Mboya statue, Holy Spirit immediately spoke to me telling me that I should prophecy not preach. He specifically told me to speak of the coming death of prominent Kenyans.

I went on prophesying for hours as God gave me utterance until darkness came. Few Kenyans listened and many ignored as usual.
I gave thanks and went to rest.
Immediately, few hours after I came out of the streets from prophesying of death of prominent Kenyans, a prominent Kenyan, MP George Muchai was dead in the streets of Nairobi.
I came from prophesying death of prominent Kenyans in the streets some minutes past 7 o’clock in the evening and MP George Muchai was assassinated same night at about 3 o’clock.
The death of Mp George Muchai was breaking news that Saturday morning 8th February 2015 and in my Facebook page I wrote,
Something did not click in me this time but I had a clue.
The next Friday, 13th February 2015, I went out again in the streets of Nairobi. As usual the Holy Spirit told me what to say, not to preach but prophecy. He told me to prophecy of the death of prominent Kenyans.
I was in the same place near the Tom Mboya statue prophesying of death of several prominent Kenyans for many hours as God gave me utterance. As night fell, I gave thanks and went to rest.
That Friday night, early hours Saturday morning, another Mp, Mp Philip Godana was shot dead. This was breaking news all over Kenya media from Saturday morning and I wrote this that day,
That moment I realized that deaths are occurring because of me.
I do not like people dying because of me but bringing humanity to Jesus Christ for salvation. My happiness is seeing heaven celebrate for a soul I have helped get into heaven.
I went into prayer.
God came and told me to wait for something more He is giving me before I go out again (I will not reveal this).
Then He told me, ‘Joshua, I kill. And I sent my servant Joshua to kill’

I realized God kills and immediately I stopped blaming and feeling guilty for people’s death occurring as I carry out God’s work. I learned to only focus on God, His will and His work no matter what happens and takes place as I do His will.
When God fulfills His promise to me, I will go all over the world carrying out the great commission.
