Take the Bible Literally. Do not complicate it. Take it at its word. It is written in a very plain simple language.
Ecc 7:29 This is all that I have learned: God made us plain and simple, but we have made ourselves very complicated
God made everything simple, including the Bible but we complicate – and that is our problem
Take the Bible Literally – Do Not Complicate it
One day God asked me,
‘Why is the Bible written in a plain simple language?’
And He said,
‘For every person to read and understand’ – even if it’s a kid who knows how to read
Look at every human writing – it is with heavy complicate language and wordings but not so with the Bible. Humans are always trying to prove their language prowess (a sign of pride) but this is not so with God.
The first mistake we make is complicating the Bible, not taking it literally, not taking it at its word. Our mistake is trying to formulate a spiritual meaning with our human mind. This is the origin of all twisted concocted doctrines.
Examples;
In the Bible it’s written that God created the earth and the heavens. If you do not a take those words literary and truly believe God created the earth and the heavens, you have denied the Truth – denied God.
It’s written that Abraham went to sacrifice his only son. If you do not take those words literally, you have denied the Truth
When it’s written, do not steal, do not worship idols, do not commit fornication, do not lie, do not covet, do not kill, etc, – it means so, take it at its word
When Jesus said forgive others for you to be forgiven, it means that – no other meaning
When Jesus said worry not about tomorrow, it means that – no other meaning
Not taking the Bible literally is the first step in denying the Truth.
You cannot obey Jesus, obey the Truth, unless you take Him at His Word
When you deny the Truth, you create an idol, a god
Example;
There is only one Moses the Bible speaks of – the Moses who led the children of Israel. When you deny that this is the only Moses the Bible speaks of in entirety, you start making your own Moses – a counterfeit, a demon, an idol, a god
There is only one Elijah the Bible speaks of – the Elijah who was taken by a chariot of fire, the Elijah of Mount Carmel contest, the Elijah who killed 450 prophets of Baal, etc, and this is the Elijah entire scripture speaks of.
This is the Elijah the Bible says will come before the great and dreadful day
Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the LORD.
The moment you deny that this is the only Elijah the Bible speaks of, you will make your own Elijah – an idol, a demon, a god and worship it/him/her
Today people have denied the Truth, they do not want the Moses of the Bible, the Elijah of the Bible, the John the Baptist of the Bible, the Jesus Scripture testifies of, etc, and thus they make their own Elijahs, Moseses, Jesuses, etc
The counterfeiting of God servants started many years ago and at the end we see a counterfeit of Jesus Christ by the name ‘Antichrist’. See who the Antichrist is. Counterfeiting is Satan’s work.
There is another group of people who read the Bible, though written in a very plain simple language, they see their own things not what is written
Example,
A man came to me and asks for baptism with water and I told him that Jesus does not baptize with water but with the Holy Spirit but the man told me that Jesus said we be baptized with water and he quoted this verse,
Mt 28:19 Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost
I asked the man, where do you see water in that verse? The man told me it’s by water – there is no way that man could see in that verse there is no ‘water’
Another man came for deliverance and told me he has been fasting and still fasting. I asked him where are we told to fast to be delivered or receive from God? He quoted this verse,
2 Chron 7:14 If my people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land
Do you see fasting anywhere? No! But the man was seeing fasting in that Bible verse and every Bible verse he quoted
See we receive only by faith not fasting
A person will read a Bible verse but see and hear his/her own things because that is what the voices of the enemy are saying to him/her. Unless the person is first delivered, they cannot see the Bible as written neither can you preach and teach them
It’s when you have taken Bible literally, taken Jesus at His Word, believed in that Truth, when the Holy Spirit comes and builds on that truth through revelation.
What Bible has is the foundation of the Truth, which if you take it as the Truth, the Holy Spirit comes and builds on that Truth. If you deny that Truth, there is no foundation for the Holy Spirit to build on.
Bible does not contain everything, it only contains the foundation of the Truth, the entire Truth is revealed by the Holy Spirit, the entire Truth is Jesus Christ Himself (John 16:13)
We do not receive revelation because we have denied the Truth, denied to take the Bible literally, to take Jesus at His Word
Example; there is no person who has denied the Elijah of the Bible has ever received a revelation of the Biblical Elijah – I have met him
Satan reveals but his revelations have no foundation on the Truth, contradicts and goes against the Truth and the Scripture (the Bible). Satan reveals to deceive.
Every revelation, vision, dream, etc, that contradicts scripture is demonic
Bible is self-explanatory – it does not require you to use your own imagination and thoughts. When it introduces a topic, it continues with that topic throughout the Bible, from one book to another, explaining itself.
When it introduces a person, it goes further to speak about that person in other books, expounding.
Be like a child, read the Scripture (Bible) like a child – its only adults who complicate
Mark 10:15 Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.
We perish because we deny the Truth and formulate our own truths. We perish because we do not take Jesus at His Word and obey Him.
Jesus is Coming
