The sealing of 144,000 takes place in between the 6th seal and the 7th seal. The great tribulation period starts with the opening of the 7 seals.
The first 4 seals reveal the 4 horses of apocalypse. See the 4 horses of apocalypse
The 5th seal reveal souls of martyrs. See the 5th seal
The 6th seal reveal signs and wonders in heaven never seen since creation. See 6th seal
Immediately after the 6th seal before the opening of the 7th seal, there is the sealing of 144,000
Sealing of 144,000
After the 6th seal, 4 angels stand at the four corners of the earth holding the four winds of the earth
Rev 7:1: And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
The 4 angels hold wind not to blow on earth
Then another angel ascends from the east having the seal of God
Rev 7:2-3: And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, ‘hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads’.
The 4 Angels holding the wind come to hurt the earth, the sea, and the trees (vegetation) but an Angel come to first seal the servants of God with the seal of the living God.
Who are these servants of God who are sealed?
Many controversies have been said about the sealed 144,000 but what does the Bible says?
Rev 7:4: And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty and four thousands of all the tribes of the children of Israel
The sealed 144,000 are only of all the tribes of the children of Israel
The 144,000 sealed of the tribes of the children of Israel
- Tribe of Judah – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:5)
- Tribe of Reuben – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:5)
- Tribe of Gad – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:5)
- Tribe of Asher – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:6)
- Tribe of Naphtali – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:6)
- Tribe of Manasseh – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:6)
- Tribe of Simeon – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:7)
- Tribe of Levi – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:7)
- Tribe of Issachar – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:7)
- Tribe of Zebulon – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:8)
- Tribe of Joseph – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:8)
- Tribe of Benjamin – 12,000 are sealed (Rev 7:8)
Total sealed = 144,000 of the tribes of the children of Israel
No gentile is among the 144,000 sealed, why?
After Apostle John saw the sealing of the 144,000 of the tribes of the children of Israel, he looks and sees the church
Re:7:9-11: After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and tribes, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. And cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb’. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God.
The church is of many nations, tribes, people and tongues – it is of the gentiles
Rev 7:13-14: And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, ‘Who are these which are arrayed in white robes? And where did they come from?’ And I said unto him, ‘Sir, you know’. And he said to me, ‘These are they who came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb’
See that Apostle John sees the church in heaven, clothed with white robes (Jesus Robe of Righteousness), not on earth as he saw the children of Israel being sealed
There is a church to be ruptured before the great tribulation as the church of Philadelphia was promised by Jesus but there is a church which will come out of the great tribulation period to join the raptured church in heaven.
The church which will come out of the great tribulation period will be of martyrs reason we see in 5th seal the martyrs being told to rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, be fulfilled (Rev 6: 11)
In the great tribulation period, many gentiles will die for Jesus Christ as seen in Rev: 12
We shall not hunger anymore, thirst anymore, the sun shall not strike us not heat us and God will wipe away all tears from our eyes
Rev 7:16-17: They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes
Whatever it takes, makes it to heaven
Accept Jesus Christ today and escape the great tribulation period
If you are left in rapture, accept to be His Marty and make it to heaven
Jesus is coming
