Antichrist reign will last for 1 week (7 years) as seen in Daniel 70 weeks. He will rise as a peaceful world leader in the first 3 ½ years but in the next 3 ½ years, he will be the real devil he is.

Antiochus Epiphanes is a prototype of the Antichrist and from him we get a preview of what the Antichrist will do during his 7 years reign.
The Book of Daniel unlocks the Book of Revelation and reveals to us the entire works of Antichrist during his reign.
Antichrist Reign in 7 Years (1 Week)
The Antichrist will;
1. Exalt and magnify himself above every god
He will be a god: – One of the ‘I wills’ of Satan which made him be cast from heaven was, ‘I will be like the most High’, Isa 14:14. Antichrist will be accomplishing this as prophesied, ‘and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god’ Dan 11:36. Apostle Paul describe the Antichrist as, 2Th 2:4: Who opposes and exalted himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped so that he as God sat in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
2. Blasphemy God
Shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods Dan 11:36. We also see this in Daniel’s dream of beasts, Antichrist being the little horn. And he shall speak great words against the most High Dan 7:25. Also in the Book of Revelation, ‘he opens his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle’ Rev. 13:6.
3. Magnify himself even to the high priest
As Antiochus Epiphanes exalted an apostate, one Menelaus, over Onias the high priest, so will the Antichrist do. In Revelation 13, we see the second beast elevating the first beast. And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed Rev 13:12. The first beast is the Antichrist while the second is the apostate high priest. Antichrist will overthrow the legitimate high priest in Jerusalem and exalt an apostate who is referred in Revelation as, ‘beast with two horns like a lamb and spoke as a dragon Rev 13:11.
4. Take away daily sacrifice and oblations
Just as Antiochus Epiphanes did, so will the Antichrist. …and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary cast down. And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression Dan 8:11.
5. Cast down the truth
…and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced and prospered Dan 11:12. The way Antiochus Epiphanes cast down the truth by attacking temple worship so will the Antichrist do. Antichrist will attack the temple worship and Christianity entirely; the New Covenant. Reason we see him in revelation waging war on the Jews and Christians even setting an image and commanding every person to worship it. Rev 13:15: And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
6. Understand dark sentences
A king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up Dan 8:23. Antichrist will be adept in all forms of occultism, witchcraft, Illuminati, Freemasonry, New age or New Order, Kabbalism and Gnosticism etc. He will understand and practice all pagan mysteries. Not a surprise because the Antichrist will rise from the Roman Empire (European Union) which is a political system but specifically from the Roman Catholic Church which is a religious system and ‘THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH’ as you have seen in Mene Mene Tekel Urphasin.
7. Destroy the mighty, Jews and Christians
Dan 8:24 and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. Antiochus Epiphanes persecuted the Jews who opposed him just as Antichrist will destroy the lands’ mighty and persecute Jews and Christians. Rev 12:17: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
8. Destroy many by peace
Dan 8:25 and by peace shall destroy many. Antichrist will rise as man of peace but secretly destroying many. You can now hear every world leader calling for peace and Antichrist is rising in this time as a peace leader but a devil destroying many.
9. Dan 11:21…he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. Deception, cunning, and treachery were Antiochus Epiphanes trademark and, so, the Antichrist. Antichrist will make false political promises of peace to win over the anti-war masses his goal been to get into political power by whatever means it takes. Antichrist will not appear with militaristic power but this will be manifested later in his reign.
10. His heart shall be against the holy covenant Dan 11:28. Antichrist main goal from the start of his reign will be to cut Christianity by persecuting all Jews and Christians.
11. PLACE THE ABOMINATION THAT MAKES DESOLATE Dan 11:31. This is the main source passage for the abomination of desolation. Antichrist will place the abomination in the temple that makes it desolate
12. Collaborate with apostates
Dan 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries. Just as Antiochus Epiphanes collaborated with the apostates so will Antichrist do in accomplishing his agenda.
13. Honor god of forces
But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. The God of forces? a god whom his fathers knew not? Dan 11:38. We understand this to refer to the ‘dark side’ of the Antichrist system of belief, his understanding and practice of dark sentences.
