Many Protestants today claim that it does not matter the spiritual leader you are under as long as your personal relationship with God is right. Is this true? Is this Biblical?
Does the Spiritual Leader You are Under Matter?
Yes! Biblically the spiritual leader you are under matters.
Let’s see this in the Bible.
We all know that Moses was a leader chosen by God. See God chooses His servants you do not choose yourself.
When Moses was leading the children of Israel, another leader, Korah, rose up and the children of Israel were divided, some to Moses and others to Korah.
Num 16:1-3: Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men. And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown. And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron
And God told Moses to tell the people to separate themselves. Korah had his company of the children of Israel (Num 16: 27)
When God exacted His judgment, the entire Korah company perished.
Num 16:31-35: And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them. And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, ‘Lest the earth swallow us up also’. And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
It did not matter your personal spirituality or relationship with God. What mattered is that you were under Korah not Moses.
Remember that the children of Israel led by Moses were the first church of God.
Acts 7:38: This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spoke to him in the Mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us
The church led by Moses is a picture of today’s church. How God dealt with that church is the same way He deals with today’s church.
Let’s look at another leader.
When the spirit of God departed from Saul an evil spirit came into him. See why the spirit of God departs and how to know if He has departed.
When the spirit of God was in Saul, Saul could go to battles with his men and they could not all die. But when the spirit of God left Saul, it’s time Saul went to battle and all men with him died, including his sons and himself (1 Sam 31).
When heaven is not with the spiritual leader you are under, you will all perish. It does not matter your spiritual relationship with God.
It is for this reason Jesus said,
Mt 15:14: Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Yes! When a blind person leads you, s/he will lead you into a ditch, fall and perish. In other words, s/he will lead you to hell.
If you are not blind, you will not be accepted to be led by a blind leader.
These are few non-exclusive examples in the Bible revealing that it matters the spiritual leader you are under.

Today ignorant hypocrites and brood of vipers tell you that it does not matter the spiritual leader you are under as long as you are worshipping Jesus Christ and your own spiritual relationship with God is right.
It is a lie. It is not Biblical. It is neither Godly nor heavenly.
The spiritual leader you are under matters because;
- If s/he is blind you will perish with him/her
It does not matter if you have eyes or no but if your spiritual leader is blind, s/he is leading you in blindness and you will all perish with him/her.
2. You cannot win battles
You cannot win battles when led by a spiritual blind leader. Instead, you will all perish in the battle like Saul and his men.
3. Lead you to hell or heaven
The spiritual leader you are under is either leading you to hell or heaven.
Every person who followed Korah knowing or ignorantly perished when earth opened its mouth and swallowed them to hell
You cannot be under a Satan servant and claim to be worshipping God. It’s a lie.
You cannot be led by a Satan servant and claim to be heading to heaven. It is a lie. Hell awaits you.
You cannot be under a blind spiritual leader and say you are heading to heaven. It is a lie. Heaven is for those with eyes not the Blind. It is only hell you can go closing your eyes.
If the spiritual leader you are under is blind, teaches a another gospel not the biblical gospel, or the Spirit of God is not with him/her, run as fast as you can from him/her because you will perish with him/her.
How do you know a spiritual leader is blind?
- There is no God chosen leader who does not dream dreams and see visions and if he doesn’t s/he has a prophet.If a spiritual leader cannot dream dreams and see visions or doesn’t have a prophet, s/he is blind.
- If you cannot see signs, miracles and wonders following a God servant, the spirit of God is not with that person; the leader is blind.
It is a must for the following signs to follow each and every true Jesus Christ servant; cast out demons, speak in new tongues, take up serpents, if they drink anything deadly not hurt them, lay hands on the sick and they recover (Mk 16:17-18).

The spiritual leader you are under matters; s/he will either lead you blindly to damnation (hell) or with eyes to heaven.
Many spiritual leaders today have been chosen by men, made by worldly foolish education theology or inherited what is called ‘churches’ or bought their leadership with money. This does not make them God chosen or have eyes.
Stop blindly following a blind leader. There is nothing you are gaining from him/her but hell. Stop ignorant blind loyalty costing you heaven. Run away. You were not purchased to bondage and control by a human being but to freedom.
Wake up.
You are perishing
The true Bride of Christ is not led by a blind person, not led by a person who does not hear directly from God through dreams and visions or even from a prophet.
No spiritual leader in the Bible was blind; they could dream dreams and see visions and if not they had prophets a good example being King David. Was Paul blind? Was peter blind? No!
Which church is led by a spiritually blind person? Not the true Jesus Christ church but another church heading for hell.
In addition, Biblically heavenly and Godly, there is nothing like a spiritual father or spiritual mother. It is a false gospel of the dark kingdom.
