Love gives more than a Tithe, more than what the Law requires. Love has no measure, cannot be quantified – Love gives all.
See the difference between giving by the Law and out of Love
Love Gives More Than a Tithe – Do Not Tithe, Love
A parent taken to court for child upkeep only pays what the court has decreed. S/he cannot pay beyond the court orders. On the other hand, a parent bringing up his/her child in love does more to the child than the law will ever require.
People never pay taxes beyond what the government requires of them. In fact, if the government doesn’t monitor them, they will pay less or not pay at all.
Any person giving to God because its written, commanded, decreed thus of the law cannot give beyond what is required. Reason tithers only give 10%.
On the other hand, Love gives all, Love has no measure, cannot be quantified. A person giving to God out of His love for Him does not give 10% but gives all.
How do we give all to God?
As Jesus was sitting opposite the treasury, He watched the crowd putting money into it. And many rich people put in large amounts. Then one poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amounted to a small fraction of a denarius. Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more than all the others into the treasury. For they all contributed out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in all she had to live on’’.
All others contributed out of their surplus, but the widow out of her Love for God – it’s only love that gives in poverty. All tithers give out of their surplus, until they have no surplus to give and they tithe not.
If it’s of love, it’s giving all.
Love has no measure. You cannot measure/quantify God’s love for the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son to die on the Cross.
Why are you measuring/quantifying what you are giving God?
Love is expressed by giving not receiving. Love expects no reward/blessing. Did God expect a reward from humans by giving His Only Begotten Son to die on the cross for them? No! Instead, He expected His Son to be Rejected Blasphemed and Killed by those He came to save.
Tithers do not love God. Their tithing is never out of their Love for God but out of surplus and for other selfish reasons.
Therefore, what happens when the reward (blessing) is not coming? They turn against God abusing mocking and speaking blasphemous words upon Him.
If it’s not of Love, it’s a sin, it’s in vain – it’s chasing after the wind.
The Greatest Command is; Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
If you indeed love God, you will give Him all, out of your love for Him not just 10% – not just a tithe.
Love gives all, Love has no measure, Love expects no reward (blessings), Love keeps no records (forgets), Love is expressed and giving (not receiving) is an expression of Love.
Let everything you do unto God be an expression of your Love for Him
