Many people do not know which is the greatest commandment and if they know they are ignorant of it. Love is not the greatest commandment.
Satan has a way of playing around with God’s words in the Bible and perverting the truth. The world is full of ‘Satan perverted gospel’ and Christians are not spared from this. If you ask a person which is the greatest commandment, you will hear him/her tell you love. Love is not the greatest commandment.
Love of God the Greatest commandment
When Jesus was asked which is the greatest command, He did not say love. Mk 12:28-31: And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you shall love the Lord your God with all thy heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Look keenly at the words Jesus uses. There is the first commandment which is very important than any other command. This is the love of God. All other commands have a basis and root in this command. And this is the most important and greatest command of all commandments. So if any person asks you the greatest command, do not say love, but love of God.
Jesus knew what He was saying by saying the greatest command is love. The world teaches that you can love your neighbor without even caring or loving God and this is the highest degree of hypocrisy. A man cannot love fellow man without first having the first love; the love of God.
If what the world teaches is true, if the greatest command is love, if you can love fellow man without loving God, why are we seeing all these evil in the world? Every world leader and person is telling you and me to love each other subtracting love of God. No one is teaching and talking about the love of God even churches have been sacked into this satanic lie. Man cannot love fellow man without the love of God.
True love comes first from loving God and without God there is no love even to fellow man. This happens when you became born-again and the Holy Spirit dwells in you (you are baptized with the Holy Spirit). One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is love and this love is only brought by the Holy Spirit not man trying to. Without the presence of Holy Spirit in a man’s life, there is no love in that man. If love can exist without God, by removing God from the equation, why the evil in the world? Today’s world news are all about evil, man killing and hurting each other, fighting for worldly things; money, power, fame. Where is this love which the world leaders and all ‘worldly men of God’ preach day and night? This is the total hypocrisy I am talking of and any man who says that s/he loves his/her neighbor without loving God is a hypocrite.
The scribe who asked Jesus which is the greatest command understood what Jesus said. Loving God is the most important thing which first matters. Mk 12:32-34: And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he. And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
There are important things you must get from the greatest command. Jesus was not wasting His time and words saying all those words in answering the scribe. These are;
- The root of true love is only from loving the true God ‘I AM’. True love is radiated from a man when s/he first loves God with all his heart souls and body. See man trinity here; Man is a trinity.
- There are other gods. See the meaning of the word god and you have no other gods before me. The world has her god, Satan, and the love which comes out from the world is not love at all but total hypocrisy. this is the love the world is teaching, telling man to love one another subtracting the love of God.If there is love in the world, why all the evil?
The kingdom of haven is near to those who radiate true love not hypocrisy. Love of God is everything and greater than all you can think of. When Jesus saw that the scribe understood this, He told Him, ‘Thou art not far from the kingdom of God’. The kingdom of God is only for those who radiate true love which is only from God not from the world (hypocrisy).
