Why do you gossip and slander? Do you not know it is against the Lord and the result is hell? (1Cor 6:9-10, Gal 5:23, Rev 22:15).
Gossip and Slander Will take You to Hell
I told you how by the Grace of Jesus Christ I listen to people prayers as they pray bad to befall their enemies. See love your enemy – why do you pray bad to befall your enemy?
Another thing by His Grace I listen to is people gossiping and slandering Joshua – not only Joshua but others. By His grace, I read people social media profiles e.g Facebook, Whatsapp, etc and see the gossip, slander and filthiness they are doing in secret.
Not every person I rebuke when God reveals for it is written
Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you (Prov 9:8)
When Miriam and Aaron gossiped and spoke against Moses, God anger was kindled against them
Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married, for he had married a Cushite woman. And they said, ‘Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has he not spoken through us also?’ And the LORD heard it. (Numbers 12:1-2)
‘Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?’ And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them, and He departed. When the cloud removed from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, like snow. And Aaron turned toward Miriam, and behold, she was leprous (12:9-10)
Gossip, slander and speaking evil of others kindles God’s anger upon you
Bible reveals 2 fools;
- Who say there is no God (psalms 14:1) and
- One who slanders or spreads slander
Proverbs 10:18 whoever conceals hatred with lying lips and spreads slander is a fool
God commands us not to be slanders
Leviticus 19:16 You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I AM the Lord
James 4:11 Brothers and sisters do not slander one another
God promises to destroy slanders
Psalm 101:5 whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy
Destruction means both on earth and in heaven reason gossipers and slanders cannot inherit heaven
We are commanded not to speak evil against others
Titus 3:2: To speak evil of no man
Why do people abuse, gossip, slander, persecute, speak evil and pray evil to befall others? Because they lack love.
If you truly love, which means you truly have Christ Jesus in you, you are baptized with the Holy Spirit, you cannot abuse, gossip, slander and persecute – in love these things do not exist.
A large percentage of today so-called-Christians, day and night are abusing, gossiping, slandering, persecuting and speaking evil of others. God never makes a person do these things but only Satan.
On the day of your judgment, you will give account for every abuse, gossip, slander, evil speaking and persecution
Mt 12:36 I tell you, on the Day of Judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak
Jesus was abused, gossiped, slandered and persecuted and although He heard every word spoken against Him be it in the dark, He abused slandered and persecuted none – imitate Him.
They slandered Stephen and persecuted him, Stephen slandered and persecuted none but prayed the Father to forgive them and so was Jesus prayer.
Pray the father to forgive those who abuse, gossip, slander, persecute, speak evil of you for they do not know what they are doing.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those who speak evil about you, and persecute you (Mt 5:44)
For every gossip, slander and evil you have spoken about or to others repent
These are the things that have shut your life, brought stagnation, no breakthrough, distanced you from God, shut heaven from you and will take you to hell if you do not repent and flee from them.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that, which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers (Ephesians 4:29)
Many people have concentrated on sacrifice offerings tithing but forgotten the weightier matters; love, do not abuse, slander, gossip, pray bad to befall others, fearing marriages and not putting them asunder, etc and in these things Satan has chained them.
Jesus Christ cannot allow you to preach His gospel without Love. Satan will tell you to preach yet gossiping, abusing, slandering, speaking evil about others, praying evil to befall others, etc. Not every person preaching the gospel is send by Christ Jesus, Satan sends his own too to preach to bring confusion, corrupt Christ gospel and take many from the TRUTH – these are the counterfeits.
If only your so-called churches and preachers can concentrate on teaching you Christ Jesus not about money, worldly riches and education, motivation and inspiration and stop preaching human being and being entangled by these things, then can you be delivered saved, see success and curses free from you.
Be blameless before God like Job
The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart, whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others (Psalms 15:2-3)
