The Book of Revelation is the last Book in the Bible – the only Bible book with blessings for reading and hearing it.
The first book of the Bible is Genesis, the last being the Book of Revelation. This means that before reading the Book of revelation, you must have read all other Books of the Bible. Why?
Because the Book of revelation is coded to be understood only by true Bride of Christ – those who have read and being helped by the Holy Spirit understood all other Bible books. See the how to study the Book of Revelation
Entire imagery and poetry used in the Book of Revelation is not new but found in all other Books of the Bible especially the Book of Daniel
Daniel was told to seal up the Book until end time but Apostle John was told to seal not the book
Dan 12:4: But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end
Rev 22:10: And He said unto me, ‘Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand’
In addition, God promised that in the End Time the wicked will not understand while the wise will understand
Dan 12:9-10: And he said, ‘Go your way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand’.
The wicked cannot understand the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation
The Book of Revelation – Blessing For Reading and Hearing it
The Book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ by God
Rev 1:1: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him to show His servants
The Book of Revelation is entirely prophecy thus prophecy is Jesus Christ revelation
Not reading and hearing it is saying ‘No’ to Jesus Christ Revelation – to Jesus Christ. See vision of a church against Bible End Time prophecy
Because the Book of Revelation (which is prophecy) reveals Jesus Christ, it is for this reason ‘blessed is he who reads and hears of this prophecy’ (Rev 1:3)
Prophecy reveals Jesus Christ – if you want Jesus Christ to reveal Himself to you, read and hear prophecy
When prophecies get fulfilled, the unbelievers are dumb-folded and at last they say ‘Jesus Christ is Lord’
Woe unto you abusers of prophesies and prophets
Many so-called churches today want nothing to do with prophecy (Jesus Christ revelations) – they are after blessings and worldly wealth; prosperity gospel. See prosperity gospel is leading millions to hell
The only Book in the Bible that God assures us of blessings for reading and hearing it is the Book of Revelation
Rev 1:3: Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand
If you want God’s blessings, read and hear the words of prophecy in the Book of Revelation
Apostle John in the Book of Revelation describes Jesus as;
- The faithful witness (Rev 1:5) – He witnesses on earth
- The firstborn from the dead (Rev 1:5) – Jesus fulfilled the feasts of first fruits becoming the first fruit Himself. See prophecy Jewish feast.
- The ruler over the kings of the earth – Jesus uses kings and presidents of earth as puppet’s to fulfill His word and prophecies knowingly or unknowingly e.g. Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Saul, etc. Your political leaders and monarchies are used by Jesus to fulfill His Will
- Washed us from our sins in His own blood (Rev 1:5)
- He has made us kings and priest to God (Rev 1:6)
- Who is and who was and who is to come (Rev 1:8). Who is – present tense, who was – past tense (He was on earth), who is to come – future tense (He is to return to earth)
Behold He is coming
Rev 1:7: Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also who pierced Him: and all tribes of the earth shall mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen
Who pierced Him? The Jews
Zechariah prophecies that the Jews will weep when they see whom they pierced
Zech 12:10: And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourn for His only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn
See vision of Armageddon battle to me
The word ‘Tribulation’ means trouble.
When Apostle John says,
I John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience in Jesus Christ, was in Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ’ (Rev 1:9)
He means that he was in trouble in Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. This does not mean that he was in the great tribulation period.
The Roman Empire tried everything they could to kill Apostle John who was the last remaining Jesus disciple alive and when they couldn’t they banished him to a desolate Island called Patmos. Patmos was desolate in those centuries. Yes! Apostle John was in tribulation (trouble).
He was in trouble (tribulation) for the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ as some of us are in tribulation for the Word of Jesus Christ reason he calls us brother and companion in tribulation
Trouble Jesus Christ servants face for the gospel and the trouble Bride of Christ face in the world is not the great tribulation prophesied in the Book of Revelation
Next is the structure of the Book of Revelation
Repent Repent Repent
Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand
