Inside the 7 years tribulation period, and exactly in 3 ½ years reign of the Antichrist, Arch Angel Michael will stand up to battle Satan and take charge of Israel. He will cast out Satan and his angels (demons) forever from Heaven, the Holy Throne.
Angel Michael is the Arch Angel while Angel Gabriel is the messenger Angel. Angel Michael is the Angel who oversees Israel and he is not Jesus Christ.
In Armageddon battle culmination, we have seen how world armies are preparing to push come to the valley of Megiddo in Israel to overthrow the Antichrist. Armageddon battle starts with Egypt and Russia troubling the Antichrist then the entire world joins.
After giving out Armageddon war culmination and the Armageddon battle in Daniel 11, Angel Gabriel gives Daniel the standing up of Angel Michael for the children of Israel and casting out Satan forever from heaven.
Dan 12:1: And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
When Angel Michael stands up, as we see in Revelation chapter 12 which throws more light to Daniel 12:1, Satan and his angels (demons) will be cast out from heaven forever. This will happen in the Middle of the tribulation period, immediately after the first 3 ½ years reign of the Antichrist when the Antichrist is injured, healed miraculously and the whole world marvels.
Where does Satan live?
Satan does not live in hell but he will later be cast into the lake of fire. Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. Right now, he roams the earth and has access to heaven. Anytime he wants, he can cruise up into heaven as we see in Revelation chapter 12 and Job chapter 1.
In Job we see God talking to Satan in heaven. Job 1:7: And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And this is what Satan does up to today; going to and fro in the earth and walking up and down it. In heaven Satan accuses Christians.
Earlier in the Bible, we see Satan being thrown out of heaven and becoming the prince of the world but he still accesses heaven. In tribulation period, Satan will forever be cast out from heaven; he will never access heaven again.
Arch Angel Michael battle Satan in Heaven
In the last 3 ½ years of the reign of the Antichrist or tribulation period, Arch Angel Michael will stand up and wage war on Satan and his angels as well as take charge of Israel. Arch Angel Michael battle with Satan will be in heaven while taking charge of Israel will be on earth.
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceived the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him Rev 12:7-8.
Arch Angel Michael will cast out Satan and his angels from heaven forever. Reason Revelation 12:12 says, ‘neither was their place found any more in heaven’ and ‘therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them’. Look the words used, ‘any more’, meaning now Satan has access to heaven.
Satan will then come on earth with great wrath, fully take over the Antichrist, and immediately wage war on Israel and Christians all over the world. Reason Rev 12:12 says, ‘Woe to the inhibiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he hath but a short time’.
Great tribulation never before on earth will be. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be Mt 24:21. Reason Jesus says, ‘And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened’ Mt 24:22. Yes! The days are shortened only for the children of Israel who are the elect not gentiles, gentiles are adopted.
Arch Angel Gabriel battle with Satan described in Daniel 12:1 and Revelation 12 has not yet happened; it is the future. The entire Revelation 12, which is the battle of Arch Angel Gabriel and Satan, is the future. Apostle John was told to ‘Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter’ Rev 1:19. See how the chapters of Revelation Book are set accordingly.
Chapter 12 of Revelation lies in ‘the things which shall be hereafter’ and we will study Arch Angel Michael battle with Satan in heaven closely as seen in Revelation chapter 12 in the study of Tribulation.
