The 4 horses of Apocalypse in the great tribulation period revealed in the Book of Revelation by Apostle John are symbolic. They are part of the 7 seals.
The great tribulation starts with Jesus Christ opening the 7 seals with the first 4 seals revealing the 4 horses of apocalypse.
Rev 6:1: And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, ‘Come and see’
Remember that the great tribulation period starts immediately after the church-age. See the structure of the Book of Revelation and Rapture as revealed in the Book of Revelation
Also remember that the great tribulation period is a period of 1 week (7 years) as revealed by Daniel in the 70 weeks of Daniel.
The 4 Horses of Apocalypse
The first 4 seals of Revelation reveal the 4 horses of apocalypse. They are as follows in order;
1. White horse
Rev 6:2: And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer
At the end of the great tribulation period we see heaven open and Jesus Christ riding on a white horse
Rev 19:11: And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war
Out of Jesus Christ mouth we see a sharp sword coming out
Rev 19:15: And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword
And Jesus has many crowns in His head
Rev 19:12: His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns
Jesus Christ appears riding a white horse at the end of the great tribulation period not at the start
But at the start we see a person riding a white horse, with a bow not a sharp sword like Jesus and with a crown not many crowns like Jesus. Who is the person riding the white horse at the start of the great tribulation period?
It is the counterfeit/false christ – the Antichrist
Antichrist goes forth to conquer and to conquer (Rev 6:2) as prophesied by Daniel
Dan 11:41-43: He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
The great tribulation period starts with the opening of the first seal releasing the white horse – the Antichrist.
Antichrist is released from heaven – it is Jesus Christ who will open the first seal for the Antichrist to be released and revealed to the world. Up to today (2016), the Antichrist is being restrained as revealed by Apostle Paul.
2Thess 2:6: And now you know what is restraining that he might be revealed in his time
He is being restrain to be released and revealed and his appointed time.
2. Red horse
Jesus Christ opened the second seal and a red horse came out
Rev 6:3-4: And when He had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, ‘Come and see’. And there went out another horse that was red. And power was given to him that sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword
‘… take peace from earth and that people should kill one another’ = War
3. Black horse
Jesus opened the third seal and a black horse came out
Rev 6:5-6: And when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, ‘Come and see’. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, ‘A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not the oil and the wine’.

Great famine will hit earth time the third seal is opened releasing the black horse
But the famine will not to harm oil and wine – ‘and see you hurt not the oil and the wine’
3. Pale horse
The fourth seal is opened and a pale horse came out
Rev 6:7-8: And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, ‘Come and see’. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
The pale horse and his rider brings death to earth
The four horse of apocalypse and there riders will be running on earth at the same time as it is said,
… And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth (Rev 6:8)
Rider of the red horse kills by sword, rider of the black horse kills by war, rider of pale horse is death and beasts of the earth will rise against humanity. The entire animal kingdom will rise against humanity during the great tribulation period as revealed to me in vision of animal kingdom rising against humanity.
All these will kill fourth of the earth. Today (2016) earth population is estimated to be 7.4 billion and ¼ of it is 1.85 billion. By 2030 earth population is estimated to be 8.5 billion and ¼ of it is 2.13 billion.
The number of people who will be wiped out during the great tribulation period is big – great tribulation period is indeed God’s wrath on earth
In the great tribulation period, everything is coming from heaven not from Satan reason it’s called God’s wrath on earth.
God’s wrath is terrible
It is coming
Escape it now – accept Jesus Christ today

Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand
