The Church will not be in the great tribulation. The great tribulation period is the time when God pours His wrath to a disobedient world; the same period when Antichrist reigns.
Mt 24:21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
See who is the Antichrist and Antichrist reign
The great tribulation is a 7 years period as prophesied by Daniel. See the last week of Daniel 70 weeks prophecy.
The great tribulation is not for the church but for the house of Jacob (the Jews) and judgment time for the disobedient world. Reason it is rightly called the time of Jacob’s trouble.
Jer 30:7: Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
At that time, God will only be protecting the Jews from His wrath.
God (Jesus Christ) is the great eagle
Ex 19:4: You have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.
We see God giving the Jews wings of a great eagle.
Rev 12:14: And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
The great tribulation is what is described in Revelation chapter 6 to 19. See study of the Book of Revelation
10 Reasons the Church will not be in great Tribulation
1. God has not appointed us to His wrath
The godly (righteous) are not appointed to God’s wrath but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thess 5:9: For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ
See God has not appointed us to His wrath.
God poured His entire wrath on His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, thus we (the church) are not appointed to God’s wrath (great tribulation). The church is in Jesus Christ thus righteous and saved by Jesus Christ from God’s (father’s) wrath.
2. Church-age ends with rapture
Jesus gave birth to the church on the cross. The church came by blood and water; what comes out when a baby is born.
John 19:34: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water
Therefore a true church is not a building built with cement and bricks but a body built with blood and water.
1 John 5:5: Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is truth
See what a temple is and what a church is
Apostle Peter gave the first great speech of church birthday at the Pentecost; Acts 2.
Immediately after the 7 churches in the Book of Revelation, which represent the church-age, the church stops being mentioned in the Bible. Rev 4-5 reveals Rupture and the church in heaven as prophesied and seen by Apostle John. See the study of Book of Revelation.
Apostle John, who is part of the church to be caught up, gets prophesy of the seven churches while on earth but immediately after, he is taken to heaven; imagery of rapture. It is in heaven were he sees the church (Rev 4-5) and then receives revelation of the great tribulation.
John is an apostle of the church; representing the church. He gives an account of what will happen to the church in rupture.
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne (Rev: 4:1-2)
See what will happen in rapture
After Revelation 5 there is no mention of the church. This is because the church, represented by Apostle John has been caught up into heaven for heavenly worship and it is nowhere on earth in the great tribulation but watching from heaven.
3. No mention of church in the great tribulation
In the entire great tribulation period, Rev 6-19, there is no mention of the church.
4. Genesis gospel prophecy: – the church is caught up before the great tribulation
In Genesis gospel prophecy, Enoch was caught up before the flood.
Enoch represents the church while Noah represents the Israelites (Jews). Noah sailed through the flood in an ark, as the Israelites will in times of the great tribulation but the church represented by Enoch will not be found.
Enoch means dedicated while Noah means rest and comfort
5. The church is not in Daniel 70 weeks prophecy
The church is not part of Daniel 70 weeks prophecy. Daniel 70 week prophecy is only for the Holy City (Jerusalem) and the Jews.
Dan 9:24: Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
In Daniel 70 weeks prophecy, there is a gap between the fulfilled 69 weeks and the remaining last week. The gap is the church-age while the remaining one week is the great tribulation period (7 years).
6. Church comes with Jesus Christ to the Armageddon battle
The church will come with Jesus Christ straight to Armageddon battle and to judge.
Jude 1:14 …Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints
Rev 19:11, 14: And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness judges and makes war. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
The armies following Jesus Christ is the church which has early being caught up in heaven to consummate the marriage for 7 years. The bride (church) has been with the bridegroom (Jesus) in groom’s father’s house (heaven).
See Marriage of the Lamb is in accordance with ancient Jewish Marriage customs.
How is the church to come with Jesus Christ if she was not with Him already?
The only way for the church to return with Jesus Christ is for the church to already be with Christ thus the church will not be in the great tribulation.
7. To the church the Lord Jesus Christ comes as a thief
To the church, Jesus Christ is coming as a thief.
1 Thess 5:2: For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night
Mt 24:44: Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man comes
When is our Lord Jesus Christ coming as a thief?
The Abomination of Desolation talked first by Daniel and then Jesus (Mt 24:15) happens exactly in 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation. See the last week of Daniel 70 weeks prophecy
The great tribulation is 7 years period (1 week) as prophesied by Daniel and put across in the Book of Revelation. Exactly in the middle of the 7 years (3 1/2 years) we see the Abomination of Desolate.
Then Jesus Christ comes exactly 3 1/2 years after the Abomination of Desolate; this will be exactly at the end of the 7 years of great tribulation. It is exactly the same time for the Armageddon battle.
See vision of the Armageddon Battle
Jesus Christ will appear in the east riding on a horse with a great multitude of saints in horses. And He will step on mount olives and the world will be judged.
Zec 14:4: And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Jesus Christ does not come as a thief to the Armageddon battle. He will come exactly at the end of the 7 years and this is exactly when the world has gathered in the valley of Megiddo.
Rev 16:16: And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
See Armageddon Battle Culmination
Jesus Christ comes as a thief only to snatch His bride (the church) which is in accordance with ancient Jewish Marriage customs. Thus the church is caught up before the great tribulation begins.
See rapture is Biblical.
8. Holy Spirit returns to heaven for the Antichrist to be revealed and reign
Antichrist will rule only in the great tribulation period; only in the 7 years of the great tribulation. See Antichrist reign
Realize that the Holy Spirit was sent specifically to the church.
John 14:16, 26: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Holy Spirit who is with the church is the one withholding the Antichrist from being revealed and reigning.
2 Thess 2:6-8: And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now let’s will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.
Which is this mystery of iniquity already at work? It is the spirit of the Antichrist.
Let no human deceive you that they know who the man Antichrist is. All are doing guess work. For now, no man knows who the man Antichrist is until the day he is revealed to the world.
2 Thess 2:2-4: That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
The Holy Spirit leaves the world with the Church in rapture for the Antichrist to be revealed. Therefore the church and the Holy Spirit are not in the great tribulation.
9. Isaiah prophecy
Isaiah paints a clear picture of the church rapture and the great tribulation after.
Isa 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
Prophet Isaiah sees the dead in Christ rising as seen by Apostle Paul.
1 Thess 4:16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first
Isaiah continues
Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
‘Come, my people’ the same as ‘come up hither’ (Rev 4)
This is the voice of Jesus Christ calling the church to join Him in the clouds in rapture.
1 Thess 4:16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel
‘…enter thou into thy chambers’ Which chambers? The bridal chamber; the room Jesus went to prepare in His father’s house.
John 14:2-3: In my Father’s house are many rooms: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
See Marriage of the Lamb is in accordance to ancient Jewish marriage customs
‘…hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. Hide from what? From indignation. Which is this indignation?
Isa 26:21 For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
The great tribulation follows after the church hides in heaven.
Jesus Christ comes out with the church when the great tribulation is past. ‘…until the indignation be overpast’.
Rev 19:11, 14: And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness judges and makes war. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Therefore the church will not be in the great tribulation
10. Jesus will appear the second time to those watching and waiting for Him
Jesus Christ appears the second time for those watching and waiting for Him
Mt 24:42: Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come
Are you watching the coming of Jesus Christ or you are watching the coming of the Antichrist and the great tribulation?
If you are watching and waiting for the Antichrist and the great tribulation, you are in darkness. Watch and wait for the coming of Jesus Christ to deliver us from the Antichrist and the great tribulation.
1 Thess 1:10: And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Peter 4:7: But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer
1 Thess 5:5-6, 8: Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
The Church Will Not Go Through The Tribulation Period.
Rapture is at hand
Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand
